PopClip with smart local AI
Right There
Smart local AI for any selected text.
Select text in any Mac app. A Liquid Glass HUD appears above it with the action you probably meant.
Fast by design
Select. Choose. Done.
No clipboard tricks during passive use. It watches Accessibility selection changes and positions itself from real screen bounds.
Links, addresses, dates, replies, errors, code, prose, translations, and custom prompts get sorted locally.
Foundation Models or Ollama streams into the HUD with Copy and Replace when the host app allows it.
Beyond text
Finder actions, without a command line in sight.
Select a file, type what you want, and Right There proposes the shell-safe action before running it.
Built like a Mac app
Native where it matters.
SwiftUI glass effects, morphing phases, and a panel that stays above the selection.
Apple Foundation Models by default, with Ollama support when you want your own model.
The passive HUD is a non-activating panel, so the host app keeps its selection.
Option-Command-Space captures stubborn apps, then enables arrows, Return, Escape, and number keys.
PopClip-style prompts with variables for selection, clipboard, app name, and date.
Your selected text stays on your Mac. No cloud AI account, no remote prompt log.

FAQs
Does selected text leave my Mac?
No. Right There is built around Apple Foundation Models and local Ollama models.
Why does it need Accessibility permission?
That is how it sees selected text, reads selection bounds, and places the HUD above the text you highlighted.
Will it be on the Mac App Store?
Not for now. It needs to run unsandboxed for Accessibility, key synthesis, and local model access.
